All Scouts and families are invited to join us for the annual village Remembrance Day Parade on Sunday 9th November 2008.
We shall meet outside the Memorial Hall in Finchampstead Village at 2.00 pm ready to march to the Memorial. The parade will commence at 2.30 pm and the service at the Memorial Cross will commence at 3.00 pm.
Full uniform should be worn. No jeans please, scout or dark blue trousers. It may be cold so put layers underneath the uniform. No coats unless it is very wet. Don’t forget your poppy.
The Guides, Brownies, Rainbows and local residents join us for this event and we hope you will make every effort to take part. This is one of the few occasions when the Leaders ask you to give us your full support; we expect all Scouts, Cubs and Beavers to take part in this parade.
