Summer Cub Camp 2009

Dear Cubs and Parents,
Even though it is not Easter yet planning is already in progress for our 2009 Summer Cub Camp and we need your company and enthusiasm to make this camp another memorable event.
This summer we will be camping at Walton Firs in Surrey. The theme this year will be Star Wars with all the adult helpers being given characters from the films and the Cubs will be spacecraft pilots for either the Empire or Rebellion (more details will follow shortly). In the meantime the basic details of the camp are as follows:
Ø Date: Saturday 29th – Monday 31st August 2008
Ø Venue: Walton Firs Camp Site (AKA – Somewhere in the Galaxy), Cobham, Surey
Ø Activities: Climbing Wall, Archery, Shooting and an Intergalactic Battle!!!!
Ø Cost:: approx £50.00 per cub (a charge for adult helpers may be requested at a
later date)
Obviously, there is still lot of detail to work out but we do need to know very soon how many of you will be coming along (including the number of parents who would like to take part and support the event AKA you who must be named!!!) – There will be an initial camp meeting being held in the later part of next term.
Cubs: If you are interested in being part of this Intergalactic Adventure please ask your parents/guardian to complete and return the slip below together with a £10 deposit as soon as possible.
If you need any further information at this stage please don’t hesitate to speak to any of the Cub Leaders.
