Cubs

Cub Scouts are aged between 8 and 10 1/2 years old. Each Pack which is divided into smaller groups called Sixes, and they wear green uniform jumpers. Cubs take part in a wide range of activities designed to be interesting and challenging. A Cub Scout meeting consists of games and activities with time spent outdoors learning camp skills, going on hikes and playing wide games.

Camps and holidays are some of the most memorable events of the year for Cubs.

Cubs Scouts in this section work towards achieving their Chief Scout’s Silver badge.

1st Finchampstead has two Cub packs, Badgers and Leopards. Badgers pack meet on Wednesday evenings, and Leopards pack meet on Tuesday evenings.
