If you have concerns about a child’s safety, please contact the Group Scout Leader.
Alternatively contact The Scout Association and ask for the Safeguarding Team.
If you have a concern or a complaint, please in the first instance contact the Group Scout Leader. We’ll arrange a time to have a chat, talk about what’s happened, and try and understand your concerns.
If your concern is about the Group Scout Leader, or if you don’t want to talk to anyone else in the Group, please contact the District Commissioner.
We never want a situation to come about where someone feels they other no other option than to make a complaint, but if you do, we will follow The Scout Association’s complaints procedure outlined here: https://scouts.org.uk/about-us/resolving-complaints/.
In dealing with your complaint, the Group Scout Leader or District Commissioner will follow the guide outlined here for line managers.
