Reading Scout & Guide Shop

The shop is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays during term time, and is found at 163 Northcourt Avenue, Reading. RG2 7HG

The shop is usually open Thursdays 3-5pm & 7-9pm and Saturdays 10am-12noon, during term time. It is found in the grounds of 1st Woodley Headquarters at The Close, Southlake Crescent, Woodley, Reading. RG5 3QL

John Lewis

John Lewis in Reading has a small supply of Scout uniform, on the first floor near the toy section.

Second-hand uniform

1st Finchampstead is sometimes gifted uniforms that are no longer required. We currently have the following items available:

• 1 x Beavers sweatshirt (example)
  • size 26″
• 3 x Cub sweatshirts (example)
  • sizes 28″ and 30″
• 2 x Scout long sleeve shirts (example)
  • sizes XS and S
• 1 x Scout trousers (example)
  • age 11-12

We also have 2 Cub sweatshirts (size 28″ and 32″) that have fabric badge glue residue on them; you’re welcome to one for free if you’d like it but they will need some cleaning up.
