100 Club Christmas Draw
Nancy
Savage, at one time our GSL, well known for her limb breaking feats at
camp, pulled the first Christmas draw for the 100 Club just before
Christmas. Nancy was so taken with the event that she even promised that her husband would pay for a ticket for the 2011 draws.
This
being the Christmas draw, Nancy had to pull 6 names from the hat, which
she managed very successfully, despite almost breaking her wrist. First out of the hat was Lisa Chennells, who won £29. Second prize of £21.75 went to James Dunn, whilst the third prize of £14.50 went to Anne Mitchell . The extra prizes for the Christmas draw were taken by Teresa Witchell, Gill Kennington and John Sweet, who each receive £8.70.
The
100 Club will continue next year, and the number of participants (and
therefore prize money) is already greater than in 2010. If
you’re interested in joining the 100 Club – remember, it’s only £20 for
the whole year and this covers all 5 draws – contact Dave Stock at dave.stock@1finch.org.uk
