As many Group members may have heard by now, we have found that our current Scout Troop, Goldfinch, is getting increasingly crowded. With more Cub Scouts moving up into the troop in the near future, we have decided that the time has come to re-establish our second Scout Troop, Greenfinch. The troop will meet on Friday evenings, starting this Friday 25th April. The Scout Leader will be Ian Blagden, and some of the current Troop Leaders and Young Leaders will be moving to the new troop. Others among the leaders will have roles in both troops and will move flexibly between them.
We hope that all the foundation Members and Leaders will quickly establish the new Troop to be a strong part of the Group family.
