Would you like the opportunity to win a
cash prize five times a year? And
support 1st Finchampstead Scout Group at the same time?
Easy – just join the 1st Finch 100 Club,
and get your friends to join as well.
But what is the 1st
Finch 100
Club?
It’s a repeating raffle, with a restricted number
of tickets. The aim is to raise money
solely to support the activities of the 1st Finchampstead Scout Group. If we
can reach full membership, there will be a maximum of 100 tickets for each
draw. Three of those tickets will be
winners of cash prizes for each draw, except Christmas, when six winners will
be drawn. It’s a very simple way to win
money whilst raising money for 1st Finchampstead – with full participation
there will be £915 of prize money paid out every year and £1085 will be donated
to 1st Finchampstead Scout Group.
How does it work?
• Each paid up member is given a roll number.
• Every half term all of these roll numbers are
entered into a draw.
• The first 3 numbers drawn receive a cash prize, 6
at Christmas.
Draw & prizes:
The draws will be held 5 times a year – in
February, at Easter, late July, mid-October, and in the run up to Christmas. 3 Prizes will be drawn at Easter and July,
with 6 at Christmas. The draw will take
place at the end of a Beaver, Cub or Scout evening and an appropriate number of
parents collecting their child will be asked to make the draw. The first draw is planned for Christmas 2009.
