Greenfinch

Greenfinch Scout Troop meets between 7.15pm and 9.15 pm on a Friday evening.

We are a lively section with a keen interest in outdoor activities including hiking and camping. We normally organise 2-3 camps per year in the Spring, Summer and Autumn; the summer camp is tha main camp and is normally 10 days long. Whilst on camp the scouts learn to look after themselves by cooking all their meals in patrols. We invariably enter a few teams in the Three Towers hiking competition and we have a very good record of finishing in the top positions.
