Wokingham District is running a weekend activity on 13th & 14th June, giving scouts the opportunity to gain the Scout Survival Badge.
Places are limited to 12 scouts, so if you are interested, you need to email Jeremy
There has been so much interest in this event, the places are all taken and a waiting list is in operation.
The District will be running another Cub Scout and Scout football day on Sunday 7th June 2009, refereed by our own inestimable Dave Judge.
Closer to the event you will have the opportunity to let your section leader that you’re really good enough to be in the England team, but instead you’re willing to play for 1st Finchampstead. There will be more details as well.
What a fantastic time we had. Over 1500 cubs and adult helpers gathered at Gilwell Park for 6 days of CubJam. The Finch contingent had 18 of us, 10 Cubs, 1 Beaver, 1 Guide and 2 Scouts plus 4 adults.

The Wokingham Half Marathon has been rescheduled for Sunday 24th May.

Cub Jam is a an International Jamboree
with a carnival theme for cubs which will run from Saturday 23rd – Friday
29th May 2009 at Gilwell Park in Essex.

For the group of scouts that is climbing, please print off and complete the attached form, bring it with you on the night and don’t forget your £4.
