This year’s Autumn Camp will take place from Friday 30th October to SUnday 1st November.
This will be the last camp of the year and all places have now been taken.
Parents should have now filled in the Permission to Camp
Form and return it to the leaders on Thursday or Friday with a
Cheque for £55 made out to 1st Finchampstead Scout Group.
Last term, as part of our Animal Carers badge, Badgers collected food and toys for the animals homed at the Diana Brimblecombe Animal Rescue Centre.
Cub Scout Summer Camp will be at Walton Firs Scout Camp from Saturday 29th August to Monday 31st August.
The theme of the camp will be Star Wars, and all Cub Scouts attending will be enrolled as pilots for either the Empire or the Rebellion.

FINCHAMPSTEAD SCOUT GROUP &
WINGS 2009 takes place in Windsor Great Park between 1 – 8 August and eight of our Cubs will be visiting this international gathering of Scouts & Guides on 5 August 2009.
Summer Camp 2009 is expected to be from 25th July to 1st August – we intend it to be in Devon.
Since we expect it to be a camp based on water activities, we’re probably not going to be too far from the coast.There’s a picture that one of the leaders took in early March 2009 that can be seen by clicking here.

8 of the leaders (with another 4 leaders as support crew) climbed the three highest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis,
1394 m), England (Scafell Pike, 978 m) and Wales (Snowdon, 1085 m)
within a 24 hour period. They started at 5p.m.
