Scouts : Three Towers Hike 2011
The Scout Troops will be entering the Three Towers Hike again this year, taking place on Saturday 9th April.
Scout Kandersteg Expedition 2011 – Outline programme
I have put below the outline programme for the Scout Expedition to Switzerland this summer, for your delight and anticipation. Please note that this programme will change again, as we cannot do all the activities in the order that we wanted at the moment. It will be updated again when we can confirm the dates for all the activities.
Cooking Pancakes 2011
In common with many others around the country, we’ve been cooking pancakes at our various meetings this Shrove Tuesday week. Clicking on the pictures below will show you more pictures of this week’s efforts.

Fund-raising – Football Reading v Derby – Saturday 7th May
The offer that we have, as a fundraiser, provides tickets for the
Reading FC vs Nigel Clough’s Derby County at the Madejski stadium on
Saturday 7th May. It’s the final game of the season, and so there should
be a good party atmosphere. Tickets are priced exactly the same as last
time around, with Adults at £15 (normally £23), Concessions at £10
(normally £17), and under 16
REMINDER: 3 Towers Training Sunday 13th March
Due to conflicts and clashes we have had to change the training event dates – next one is SUNDAY 13TH MARCH – meet at the Bull, Arborfield 08:30am. If you want to come call me or email me please (if you have not already done so) so I can make sure there is enough space in the minibus for you.
Greenfinch Troop bird boxing
Greenfinch troop (at least those not in Snowdonia with the Group winter hill walking) spent this week’s troop meeting making bird boxes for spring. A whole set of pictures can be seen by clicking on the image below.

Simon, SL fo Goldfinch Troop, will be running a mountain weekend in Snowdonia, North Wales, over the half-term weekend, based on the Hafod Hut in the Ogwen Valley.
